Applications Support Engineer
Benetel designs and supplies wireless modules for the Telecommunications market specifically targeting LTE wireless infrastructure. Our leading edge modules are used by our clients in their Cellular Base Stations, predominantly small cells. The multi-disciplinary team members are experts in Wireless Standards, Embedded Software, DSP, RF Design, Digital, Mechanical and Test System design.

The Applications Support Engineer position will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to join a fast-growing team supporting the development and test of Benetel’s wide range of RF and Baseband products.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all customer support queries are responded to efficiently, and in a professional manner ensuring 100% customer satisfaction on calls and emails. You will be working with all members of the Benetel team; Engineering, Test, Sales to support customers during integration of Benetel products with their solutions. The role will include technical support as well as documentational support with the generation of User Guides for all the Benetel products.
The role encompasses working on leading edge dedicated SOC processors to implement 3G/4G/5G small cell base stations. The established team and product platform base provide an environment to enhance and develop skills and capabilities.

Educational and Experience Requirements
It is expected that candidates will have a minimum of a Batchelor’s Degree in Electronic or Software Engineering and achieved a 2.1 or greater.
Candidates are expected to have demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:
- RF Test of LTE eNodeB Solutions
- UE Connection Verification of LTE eNodeB Solutions
- Linux environment testing & script generation
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and graphical)
- Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a customer facing environment
- Ability to react/respond quickly to issues and to be able to think on your feet
